Thanks Red Door and Peter Sisco,

 

Today we want to thank the company Red Door and our dear realtor Peter Sisco for having been part of a beautiful dream which was to obtain our new home.

 

My husband and I were dating when we were 14 years old in 1987 in our country El Salvador. Due to the armed conflict in our country we separated and Rudy had to come to Canada looking for a better future. At that time the Internet did not exist, therefore our communication was through handwritten letters sent by traditional mail.

Unfortunately, my parents did not approve of our relationship since for them the most important thing was that I stay focused on my studies. One day my parents found the letters that Rudy sent me and when I came home from class they punished me and tore them all up in front of me. With the breaking up of my letters, all contact and the illusion of that beautiful and pure love that existed between Rudy and me disappeared. One day in 1992, Rudy returned to our country for a few days and went to look for me, but unfortunately I was very focused on my engineering career at the University and I couldn’t abandon everything for him. In addition to that, I had a lot of fear and respect for my parents. Years passed and in 2011 we met again on Facebook and this time it would be forever. We got married in 2015 and were able to live together in Canada in December 2017. Finally after 30 long years Rudy  and I were together. Dreaming of a house that belonged to the two of us at that time was impossible since I had to learn a new language and study a new career to be able to be subject to credit and help Rudy. I tried to obtain the credentials of my races but at the moment it has not been possible. The pandemic came but I did not stop in my fight to learn and graduate from a program that would open doors for me to work soon. This is how I finally managed to get a job to help Rudy so that together we could apply to get our own house. For immigrants, obtaining a house in a country different from their own is extremely difficult. That is why we are so happy and grateful to God and to Peter our realtor as he helped us in this arduous process looking for the best options for us, advising us at all times to choose the house that suited our needs and price. Peter Sisco also helped us sell the house where we lived using excellent sales strategies. Thank you Peter and Red Door because behind this purchase and sale there are more than 30 years of love from a couple who have waited for many years to start together in their new home.
